More than eight hundred cadres took participation in BJD victory rally today in the morning. The rally was started from Sunarighai chowk uptill BDO’S office. The rally was a festive procession. The cadres were holding party flags and green balloons on their hands chanting with a slogan ‘BJD Zindabad, Naveen babu Zindabad’. It was a gala day for the cadres, while going towards the BDO’S office, the supporters were bursting firecrackers on the main road of Padmapur with great enthuiasm. All the people of Padmapur were standing on both sides of the road and witnessing the grand rally. The people were thronged to look the ‘Ghumura’ a folk dance which originated from Kalahandi district was exhibited in this rally. The ghumura troupe along with the supporters were dancing with the rhythmic beats. In this rally, open top jeep was being decorated with balloons and party flags. It has been witnessed that on the open top jeep Sudhir Dash, President of Biju Janata Dal and Advisor of Swasthyo Kalyana Yojana for entire Odisha was present along with newly elected chairwoman of Padmapur block Monimala Sabar and Vice-Chairman Ramesh Sahu. Both the chairpersons were folding their hands and waving to the public for the massive support of the people. After reaching the BDO office, all the nine samiti members along with seven BJD Sarpanchs went inside the BDO’s chamber. First of all, the eminent personalities of BJD party such as Sudhir Dash, Ramakant Majhi, Gagan Bihari Acharjya and others too felicitated all the elected candidates in the presence of Padmapur BDO, Dayamoy Padhi. The Chairwoman and Vice-Chairman both of them took the official charge of chairperson from Padmapur BDO.
After conclusion of the programme, when the reporters asked Sudhir Dash about the massive victory of BJD in Padmapur panchayat, he told that the judgement was given by the people for the development done for the society. In future, many more works are there to do.
